I’m a multidisciplinary tattoo artist and painter based in Austin, Texas, and the founder of Art Realm Tattoo, which I started in 2014. Nick Baxter joined as co-owner in 2018.

Tattooing caught my attention when I was a kid. My mom loved getting tattooed, and still does, so I often went with her to different shops. Being around that environment made a strong impression on me, and I spent a lot of time flipping through tattoo magazines and studying the artwork.

At nineteen, I began taking tattooing seriously and started learning the craft with real focus. In 2008, I moved to Austin to pursue tattooing full time, continuing to refine my skills through steady practice, private study, and guidance from artists I respect.

Today I get to do what I love for a living, and I’m grateful for it. I work on projects of all sizes and approach each one with care and attention to detail. My goal is to create tattoos that feel personal, well designed, and meaningful to the people who wear them.

When I’m not tattooing, I paint and create multidisciplinary art, including astrophotography, woodworking, metalworking, and sculpture. The night sky has a special pull for me, so I own a remote observatory outside Austin where I shoot astrophotography and spend plenty of late nights looking up. Time spent looking up has a way of finding its way into my work. Each practice feeds the others, and I bring that same energy into every tattoo I create.
